Terms and Conditions

To make a booking or make an enquiry please click here. Alternatively we can usually be reached on (UK) 01277 218281 or (France) 00 33 4 68 69 59 73. Please give the name of the party organiser / leader, a contact phone number, street address (and e-mail address if available) and the dates required. (Please give alternatives if possible). We will reply indicating what dates have been reserved for you. This initial reservation notification will be held for 7 days and will include payment instructions; payment in England will be required** and receipt of the deposit will constitute a formal booking binding on us. Please let us know of any special requirements with your first enquiry.

** For those whose home currency is the euro, payment can be made in euros - the amount will depend on the exchange rate at the time and will be advised to you.

To book the entire house:

The normal booking is from 4pm Saturday to 10.30am Saturday. For shorter periods including overnight stops see foot of this page.

The rent for the house is £500 per week with no additions or reductions for different numbers of guests.
Payment: A deposit of £160 per week is payable on confirmation of booking.
The balance is payable 6 weeks before the scheduled arrival date.
The above payments are non-refundable.
In addition a security deposit of £50 is required when the balance is paid to cover any damage.

Weekly change of linen (see accommodation page), all cooking gas, electricity, water etc. also included in the above price but we do not supply charcoal for the barbeque.

There is no charge for the use of the baby's cot, buggy, highchair etc.

On arrival you will find a "welcome pack" including milk, tea, coffee and wine

On request we can purchase some provisions for you; please let us know your requirements. The cost will be the amount shown on the supermarket till slip.

Guests are responsible for any damage and breakages; this (if there is any damage) will be deducted from the security deposit with the euro equivalent of the balance will be returned in cash at the end of the stay . (Any damage in excess of the security deposit must be paid for in full).

Unfortunately there have to be some rules:

No smoking in the house. Fire is an ever-constant danger in the region so please be careful with naked lights, cigarettes etc. outside the house.
Ask us about pets if you wish to bring one.
Although the deposit is non-refundable, please notify us if, for any reason, you have to cancel.

Recommendations.

We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance.

We also recommend that guests bring a supply of food sufficient for 2 days. There is a Carrefour close to where the motorway is exited in Pamiers which opens until 7 pm on Saturdays. Most food shops are closed on Sundays but in Mirepoix (7 km) a “Huit a 8” (like our "7-Eleven" stores) and a small greengrocer are open on Sunday mornings. Sun protection is also advisable; it is readily obtainable locally.

Bed and Breakfast. If you want to come down for just a few days please contact us. Provided there is space then we may be able to agree a shorter, even overnight booking.

Privacy.

We will not give your name, your email or home address or any other information about you to any other party.
